Christmas Extravaganza Giveaway–Candle Warmer

I love candles.  There’s something so refreshing about the gentle glow, and the scent that fills your room.  As much as I adore my candles, as a parent I shy away from having an open flame around the house out of fear of my children burning themselves.  I also have a long standing fear of fire, and I feel safer to not have an open flame around the house that could inadvertently be knocked over, or left burning while unattended.

I was recently introduced to the Aurora Candle Warmer Lamp by Candle Warmers Etc.  The Aurora Candle Warmer Lamp™ is a revolutionary new concept to the candle warming industry. With a patented soft halogen light the Aurora Candle Warmer Lamp creates the ambiance of a burning candle releasing the candle’s fragrance within minutes.  Having the benefit of the ambiance, and scent without the danger of a burning flame is a huge plus to this Mommy!

A definite must have underneath the tree for any Candle Lover on your list!

My hubby proposed for Christmas Eve - He homemade my favourite meal (cheese cappeletti), had a cheap bottle of wine chilling in our juice jug, a candle and plastic tablecloth from the dollar store. He had gotten me the evening off from work. He went on one knee with an inexpensive ring that he picked out with my brother after asking my dad for my hand. So Sweet, we were 20&21 and dirt poor at the time so it really meant alot - the most special Christmas ever.

My favourite gift was a few years ago but my mother and I were out shopping one day a few months before Christmas and I found a gorgeous carved chinese chest. It was about coffee table size and had a huge price tag...you will never guess what I got for Christmas...I still use it as my coffee-table with glass on top and it reminds me of my mother every time I look at it. (she has severe dementia now but I still have the good memories of when she was doing well)
