  • I know better than anybody about this soap berry since i grew with it :) When i was young there was lot of soap berry trees in my home town in India. These soap berries are not only used to wash hair but also clean silver jewelries, clothes and kitchen items. My parents still wash their hair directly from these berries. They are 65+ in age and their hair is so thick and kinda black. They don't use any dyes on the scalp. I am done testing all kinds of shampoos on my hair and have been repenting. And this is where i stop changing my shampoo again.Back to soap...

  • Almost as good as it gets I've used both this and its "normal to dry" variant, and both are wonderful, gentle shampoos that you can use daily without ill effects. Even though my hair tends toward oily, I actually prefer the other variety because it lathers better, and a lifetime of corporate hair-care brainwashing has convinced me that lather is necessary. The "normal to dry" is a thicker, more moisturizing formula that just feels nicer regardless of what your hair is like. The "normal to oily"...
